I was SO excited when I figured out Jacie’s momma was pregnant…and even more excited when she called and wanted to set up Baby Evie’s newborn session. I had worked with beautiful Jacie before, so I knew little Evie was going to be a beauty, too. And of course…she totally is!
I love all newborns, but having had two sweet baby boys that were pretty much bald until they were two, I always get super excited when I get to work with newborns that actually have hair…and Miss Evie had a mess of it!

When the Varner Family calls…you immediately know it is going to be a wild and crazy family portrait session! And this session certainly followed that standard! Between the wind, the kids and the men wanting to be done as soon as possible, we had our work cut out for us! I think the women prevailed, and we got some great shots of this fun family!

My first thought when Trevor arrived at the studio for his senior session was…my gosh, I think he’s grown three feet since the last time I saw him! I’ve had the pleasure of shooting a family session with Trevor’s family and also a senior portrait session with his older sister over the last few years. I say this every time I work with this child…but I adore her. Not only is she gorgeous with even more gorgeous blue eyes…but she’s so smart! She ALWAYS cracks me up with the things she says. This time while driving around to different areas, I (for fun) asked her where she would like to shoot next…she promptly told me “the next location.” Hehe…alrighty then! I asked if we could use her sunglasses in a few shots…and she told me “No, I’m not ready yet. When we get there, I will be ready and then you can have them.” Hehe! She’s so NOT four!
