The Webster Family [Tulsa Area Family Photographer]

I’m a little late in getting this blog post up. Things have been crazy at the Siler hacienda with my oldest cutting his hand and needing a trip to the ER for stitches, then immediately following that up with a week of pneumonia…whew! So my apologies to the very sweet Webster Family for the delay.

It was so nice to see the Webster Family again…however this time I also had the pleasure of meeting dad and the new puppy, Rhinestone! The puppy was surprisingly very well-behaved for most of the session. There were a few times she decided she would go into attack mode and run off the noises in the woods, but other than that with some treats and my whistle, she was good to go! I love this kid…that’s all there is to it. Her momma and I go WAY back to big hair and shorty basketball shorts. I’ve worked with her frequently since she was a newborn. At our very first meeting, I named her Crazy Legs because she was a wild one…and I KNEW she was going to be a mess…and she is! Super sweet and smart…but BUS-Y! We typically try to figure out what we can put her in or on that will give me like a nano-second to get a couple shots. I don’t know how her momma does it! Happy Birthday Miss Perri! Your photographer loves you!

Kellen & Delaney [Oklahoma Children's Photographer]

I’m always excited when the Moyer family makes their trip down from Ohio to visit family because I always get to work with Mr. Kellen. There was a special addition this year…Miss Delaney! And, oh my, what a sweetie! She has about the cutest toothless grin around! We had a great time shooting. Kellen was entertaining as usual…such a creative guy! He has such great stories to tell!

It was just last year that I was shooting Kate’s senior pictures. She was in great shape then…but, wow, look at her now! She is definitely up and coming in the NPC Bikini Division. She, in my opinion, is the total package. She has a great figure, she’s gorgeous…and she’s a very sweet person. I really enjoyed working with her and her “momager” (her mom/manager…hehe).

I’m obviously getting old, because I remember Kaylee as a little bitty tot…and here she is a senior in high school! She had a special senior session for a couple of reasons. First because her awesome little man, Kadyn, joined her for some photos. He is seriously one of the happiest babies I have EVER seen. He constantly has a big grin on his face. The second thing that made Kaylee’s session pretty cool was BAD RIDES! We got to shoot with her dad’s Chevy truck and Camaro. So thank you to Randy (our friend, awesome mechanic, and proud dad & grandpa) for letting us use his car and truck. Of course, I love the Camaro…but the Chevy truck…well, it couldn’t have been more tastefully done, in my opinion…and I’m just a little bit envious. Thank you, Kaylee, for letting me be apart of your senior session…and best wishes for your future!

I have a feeling I’ll be seeing this shot hanging large in Jackson Automotive.

Elliott is one handsome little man. I loved shooting his newborn session…such a sweet baby. I cannot believe he is already one! Elliott was a pretty solemn little man, but thankfully even his serious face is precious. We also had quite a set of cake smash shots…we had mid-air flinging of icing! LOL! He just wasn’t too sure about that cake.

Baby Wyatt came to see me recently for his very first session. What a sweet and content baby he was for me! It was a good thing because the little booger would NOT go to sleep. Any shots where it appears he’s asleep…he was faking! Haha!

Kendall was like your typical high school senior guy and was not thrilled about shooting his senior portrait session. But that was ok…I was up for the challenge. I think his mom and I razzed him enough that we actually got a few real smiles out of him. Best wishes for a bright future, Kendall!

I think Kendall was rocking a bit of a Johnny Cash vibe on this one.

It was so nice seeing the Mackey ladies again! I shot big sister, Nikki’s, senior session…and I’ve shot a sister session with these beautiful girls (resulting in a nice sign for my studio) . I’m kind of sad that this is the last senior session I will get to shoot with the Mackey family! We had an interesting session to say the least. We had, what seems to be normal lately, 50 mph wind factor to deal with…and COWS. Yes, we went to a rural location and had an audience of cows. We drove in and apparently they thought my Suburban would be feeding them…so we had cows coming from miles around! I noticed before I left that I had a few big LICKS on my window. Eck! Erica was a trooper and worked the wind and rocked the cows…so it was all good.

The Copple Family [Tulsa Area Family Portrait Photographer]

I traveled to Cleveland to shoot a session with the Copple Family. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ann and her family before, but this time additional family was in from out of town, so Ann decided it was time for another family session. Ann lives in a beautiful location, but I have to say it’s some kind of crazy wind tunnel there! And it was CRAZY windy this particular day anyway…so we had major challenges! It was nice to meet Sig and Lindsay and their girls, Violet and Penny this time around. Those girls are absolutely adorable! I also got to see Miss Maria again, too! Here are a few from their session…
